Travel Trends & Bókun as a Channel Manager Presentation
This year, Elamys Group and Johku, invited the Bókun team to join them in a presentation to operators on the importance and benefits of a Channel Manager and emerging travel trends for the upcoming year.
A few highlights from our presentation include:
- According to the 2024 Trends Global Survey, 80% of global travellers surveyed feel it’s important to be able to book their trips entirely online.
- Tripadvisor data suggests that direct online and OTA sites are the two most popular channels for booking experiences.
- 46% of travellers planned to book 3-5 experiences during their winter trip this year.
- Bókun operators who moved from 1 to 2 sales channels saw a 4x increase in GBV, a 2x increase when they moved from 2 to 3 and a 3x increase when moving from 4 to 5+.
