Finnair will start collaborating with Bókun, an Iceland-based sales and contract management platform for the tours and activities industry. The collaboration aims to speed up the digitalisation of tours and activities in Finland, and to make various experiences easily available for international travellers. The sales and contract management software by Bókun ensures that tours and activities providers can manage their inventory in a digital format, making them easily available for customers to buy through their own web pages or through other service providers.
To digitalize the Irish tours and activities industry and bring them to international markets, Fáilte Ireland, the national tourism development authority of Ireland, will introduce the Bokun software to tours and activities suppliers in the country. Furthermore, participating hotels in Ireland will receive an affiliate web-storefront to grow direct revenue through selling local tours and activities to guests. The partnership gives Irish companies free and unlimited access to Bokun for an entire year.
